I found myself saying this out loud as I stared at my planner last week. June crept in quietly, no fireworks, plans only on paper, not yet taken off, and yet brought with it a sense of gentle reckoning.

There’s an invisible thread running through the most meaningful art. Not just in how it’s made — but in how it’s held. It lives in the hands that shape it, and in the hearts that recognize it. A silent understanding between those who create, and those who truly see.

And so, this March, I found myself in Jaipur, unravelling the world of miniature paintings through the eyes of an artist who has spent four decades bringing them to life. We had an immersive week of intensive work, discussion and understanding of the intricacies of this beautiful art.

March is here, and with it comes the celebration of women & their spirit. As we observe International Women’s Day, I’m reminded of a remarkable encounter that left an indelible mark on me.
