Many of you may have noticed my temporary absence and here’s the reason why! I’m thrilled to share what I was up to!

It was a transformative six months. Like most changes, the transition wasn’t an easy one. It required perseverance, creativity, and a willingness to learn, all that I had never experienced before. It involved a fair share of begging, borrowing, and maybe a little stealing – not in the literal sense, of course, but in the figurative sense of grabbing every opportunity that came my way.

One of the significant challenges in this shift was crafting a website that truly reflected my newfound identity. The initial version of the site was, in all honesty, a bit too ‘corporate-y’ to be seen as an artist’s ….

It lacked the soul and aesthetic that I envisioned for my creative space. So, the quest began internally and externally to uncover what I truly wanted, how I wanted it to look, and the story I wanted to tell.

The first question was should I do it myself or should I find someone to do it for me while I concentrate on other things? Finding the right collaborators was crucial. I needed someone who understood the language of my art and could translate my vision into pixels and code.

After a challenging search, I found a group of talented women who not only possessed the technical expertise but also shared my artistic sensibilities and more than anything were patient and willing to push their limits and dance along with my flights of fancy.

As I navigated through this process, I realized that the first iteration of the website was just a starting point. With each passing day, I delved deeper to find that voice inside. The journey was a blend of self-discovery and external exploration, gradually shaping the vision I have for TGS.

It started with deciding the new color palette, aesthetics, and overall feeling that embodies the true spirit of our artistic venture. This journey of transformation taught me that the evolution of a creative space is as crucial as the art it houses.

It was not just about visual appeal; it was about conveying the passion, the story, and the effort of planting seeds of hope in the form of handmade art. Beyond the new aesthetics, we’ve integrated features designed to spark creativity and connection.

For the curious explorer, we have our art board, a virtual playground to experiment with different artistic tools. Our blogs offer insights into my creative process and artistic discoveries, while our workshops provide opportunities for shared learning.

Get Creative
Let’s get creative!

Keep your eyes peeled for those little scrolling notes scattered throughout the site. They’re like mini brain-dumps, capturing the hilarious (and sometimes baffling) ways the artist collides with the corporate cog work in my head.

They’re just a peek into the quirky world of an artist-entrepreneur brain, and who knows, they might even spark some creative chaos in you too!

I’m aware that there are many challenges ahead, and what you see now may change shape and form in the future. I’m embracing them with open arms. Every hurdle is a lesson, every setback a stepping stone towards a more refined and authentic expression of what I always had in mind and what I learnt from my mentors – Share what you have learnt, spread the joy, and pass it on to someone who needs that kind of hope as I  once did.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have stopped by and supported me through this journey. Your messages, comments, and feedback have been invaluable. TGS is not just my creation; it’s a shared experience, a collaboration between me and all those who follow this subdued journey that  I am on.

As I continue to learn and grow, I invite you to join me on this artistic expedition. The canvas is vast, the possibilities endless, and the story is just beginning.

P.S.- Shoutout to the amazing Project 1.6 team, especially Tanisha and Varsha, for their exceptional creativity and dedication. If you’re looking for a team that can turn your ideas into reality, look no further!
